    Initial discussion

    We’ll meet with you to discuss your plans for the business and aspirations for a sale. We take an individual rather than ‘one size fits all’ approach to acquisitions so we can find the right solution for you and your clients.

    Research & Review

    we’ll provide you with all of the information you need to be make a decision including the sale price which is agreed at the outset. We will complete legal, financial and compliance due diligence and you will need to consider the tax implications of a sale.

    Deciding to sell

    if you choose to sell your business we’ll provide the legal framework to make this happen. You will have control and flexibility over the timescales of when this happens. We’ll arrange change of control consent from the FCA.

    Hand over

    at the point of completion you’ll need to provide us with your client data and we’ll work together on communicating the sale to your clients. They’ll want to know the management of their investments remains in safe and stable hands.

    Looking after clients

    we take care of our clients and want to make the transition a smooth journey. Novation’s or client letters will need to be signed depending on the investment providers. This will all be handled by our team and tracked by our back office system. Each client will be allocated a new financial adviser to look after their ongoing needs.
